life lately
entry #2
okay, so i did not write as soon as i'd planned!
anyways, during fall break i...
* spent lots of time with family!
* watched "the wild robot" and loved it
* thrifted some cool stuff!
* went to a corn maze
* bought pizza from the sketchiest dominos i've ever seen
* inherited a pair of super cool chopsticks
* saw lots of pretty sunsets
since then life's been back to the same old, same old. i've been having lots of fun with friends lately, though! we've done baptisms at the temple, as well as just walking around it. there was a weird night in noah's basement where we watched the wedding planner and had an absolutely hilarious conversation afterwards. we had a mac-and-cheese-and-spam lunch day for old times sake, and i took a frequently interrupted nap. i got swig with noah, matt, and logan. hung out at evan's house with him, logan, and noah. i was forced into doing the field of screams, so i brought my airpods and listened to abba the whole time and it was pretty chill. it's hard to be freaked out by clowns and chainsaws and such when s.o.s. is playing in your ear haha. and of course, there were lots of really fun drives. and i can't forget mission prep this past monday, followed by durangos, ice cream, and tj maxx. finally, there was yesterday where i chatted with evan for like an hour after institute and we texted each other our halloween costumes.
i really love all my friends and they're all leaving in a few months, so i'm trying to write down more memories i make with them.
today is halloween! this morning i had a fun time at work, and right now i'm procrastinating doing my homework by writing this blog entry. last night i threw together a very cool last minute costume, i'm wearing a brown coat with a "sally," name tag on the outside and some super-glued seashells on the inside. tonight i'll be selling seashells by the seashore.
while wasting time on instagram earlier i saw some cool quotes, so here they are:
"the number of hours we have together is actually not so large. please linger near the door uncomfortably instead of just leaving. please forget your scarf in my life and come back later for it."
"an artist's soul is exposed in their creations, a writer's in their words, a dancer's in their movements, a musicians in their melodies. articulation of living is how humanity thrives, it is never a waste." -e.g. francis
oh, and a few songs i have been OBSESSED with lately are:
* money make her smile by bruno mars
* notes from a wrist by d4vd
* that's so true by gracie abrams!!!! (actually so in love with this one)
* scott street by phoebe bridgers
* bennie and the jets by elton john (i rewatched 27 dresses the other day)
* the epilogue album by dean lewis
* vertigo by griff
* home run by the man the myth the meatslab

lydia
