a cool conversation

I had a really awesome conversation today. The kind that keeps you smiling as you think back on it, the kind you want to share and talk about.

This next Sunday I have an interview with my bishop to open up my mission papers and talk about going through the temple and receiving my endowment. 

And I am SO EXCITED about it. The kind of excited where I want to tell everyone I see. 

Luckily I've restrained myself to just being wildly excited to my friends and family. So, after mission prep today I was talking with Evan and Jackfather in the parking lot, and told them about how excited I am, but that I'm also a little nervous to go through the temple. 

They responded in such a reassuring way, sharing their experiences and feelings and advice. Listening to them brought so much peace and even more excitement. They were hyping me up while teaching me and helping me better understand what I have to look forward to.

It was the kind of conversation that I think Jesus would really love. It was just so wholesome, they stood with me in the parking lot for almost 30 minutes, just talking and answering my questions in the most loving and joyful way. It was such a testimony builder for me. To see a couple of really awesome guys share their personal stories with me, with such sure knowledge and conviction. They really are incredible examples.

Anyways, God really blessed me with this experience and I just wanted to leave it here to come look back on later. This conversation was seriously such an answer to prayer and so perfectly timed. 

I'm grateful for my friends and so so lucky to have had God put them in my path.
